On Saturday, September 14th, Allison and Ken got MARRIED!
It was seriously such a joy to be a part of their wedding. We actually hadn’t had the opportunity to meet prior to their wedding, but they are just the sweetest and welcomed me in with open arms that I felt like an old friend!
Allison was actually surprised by Ken and a friend from Florida she thought wasn’t going to be able to make it! They had a super fun suite for her to get ready at in downtown Historic Wilmington, then we headed over to the church for Ken and his best man to get ready and their ceremony! They had an intimate ceremony with close family and friends. I just loved getting to witness them begin their lives together!
After the ceremony we headed back downtown for some quick husband and wife portraits, then we headed over to Humble Roots Farm where they were having their reception! As a real, working farm we happened to have some surprise guests (chickens and turkeys) but the kids loved them and they were hilarious! We got to take a few more sunset portraits on the farm after their first dance, and a little later they had their cake cutting where they both got cake to the face, but luckily they were both good sports and everyone had a great time!
Allison and Ken, thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of your day!! You two are so sweet and I hope that you have a wonderful life together!!!

The ring bearer put a French fry into the ring box and no one knew until the officiant asked for the rings!
Love, Rebecca
