On Saturday, August 31st with a Category 5 Hurricane approaching the coastline of Florida, Jamie and Michael were married.
The day was surprisingly gorgeous considering the entire east coast of Florida was preparing to get destroyed by Hurricane Dorian. The couple got ready at the Embassy Suites in Deerfield. They had sweet touches of family members all throughout their details. Michael wore a locket on his boutonniere with a picture of his father in it. Jamie wore her grandmothers earrings. As a super sentimental person myself, I loved the way they incorporated meaningful people into their wedding.
Jamie shared a first look with her bridesmaids, her dad, and Michael and all of them were amazzingggg! I just love first looks. After their first look and some portraits, the couple went to sign the traditional Jewish Ketubah. Since I’m not Jewish I’ve never experienced this before, but it was just the sweetest addition to the blend of their traditional and modern wedding.
Since the weather ended up being so wonderful, the ceremony was held outside on a deck overlooking the ocean. It was just really so beautiful to see two people as in love as Jamie and Michael start their loves together!
After the ceremony it was time to party! The reception was really one of the best I’ve ever been to! All the guests were super excited to celebrate with the couple, and had so much fun living it up on the dance floor!
Jamie and Michael, thank you so much for letting me a part of your day! I hope you two have a long and happy life together!!
